assignment water intake challenge 250 words
1) Water intake –
Drink at least ½ your bodyweight in ounces daily for 7 consecutive days. E.g. if I weigh 200#, I need 100oz of water. Then write a personal reflection paper about this challenge.
Tips:
- Water bottle/Nalgene of some sort (bonus: straw)
- Drink every 30 minutes
- Drink prior to food
- Drink water prior to any other fluid
- Use plain tea or plain, unflavored seltzer (no added ingredients)
- Add fruit (lemon, lime, orange, watermelon…..)

- What are the benefits to drinking water?
- What are the effects of dehydration?
- Was this difficult? If so, what did you do to achieve this goal? Eg set timers, always carry a bottle, replace other fluids with water, etc
- What effects did you notice from increasing your hydration?
