Lots of U.S. companies target affluent consumers around the world. But many social, cultural, and/or economic issues in these countries can affect business success. Choose a country (e.g. China, India, Brazil, Japan, Russia, France, Australia…. or another country of your choosing). Then choose a U.S. company that markets its products/brands in that specific country. How successful is the company’s marketing strategy there, and what unique challenges does it face in selling its products/brands in that country that it doesn’t face ‘at home’?
