For Paper Three, you are going to continue your research into your selected Group/Individual. For this, you will need the concepts discussed in Chapters 10-12 of the Nacos Text:
Chapter 10: Post 9/11 Strategy
Chapter 11: Hard Power vs Soft Power
Chapter 12: Balancing Security with Individual Rights
Select TWO more articles on your selected group/individual (from Papers One and Two) and read them thoroughly. Use the Grantham Library and EBSCO to assist. Stick to Journals and avoid relying on the Washington Post and NY Times.
In a well-written paper, describe the U.S. and/or Law Enforcement strategy used to combat/defend/defeat the group/individual that you have selected.
Was this prior to 9/11? If so, was it effective? Post 9/11? If so, is it effective?
