Imagine you are the primary administrator of a preschool, and you recognize the value of culture in child development. Create a Culture and Diversity Plan for preschool staff and parents that will demonstrate the school’s commitment to families and an appreciation of culture in which you develop three key ideas (well-developed and detailed in terms of how you will implement each idea, why each is idea is valuable, and the outcome for each) focused on three areas:
- How the preschool will show an appreciation for diversity and culture
- Classroom activities to promote culture in development
- Options for family involvement in the preschool setting
