Essay – Student Success Strategies

View at least 30 minutes of speeches or lectures about a subject that interests you somewhat but is not about a topic with which you are familiar.   You may watch and listen to multiple speeches or lectures to meet the 30 minute minimum.  As you watch, use the question in the margin system. Write 1-2 pages about your experience.  Describe why you selected to view the speech or lecture you viewed.  Explain what worked well for you and what did not. Address your challenges using this system.

You may put together short clips to meet the 30 minute video so it is not critical that you watch one video that take the entire 30 minutes. The following are recommended:
